I was just about to bite the bullet to install an 18 inch overhang T & K bracket system from Barenco when James M0YOM called for a scaffolder to take his down because the brickwork was coming loose on the top bracket.
Worried, in case I also pulled my wall down, I thought up some ideas to spread the load and came up with this design which will also have the advantage of being able to tilt-over, assuming the right pulleys and winch were installed.
I used SketchUp from Google to make this design, which I can recommend as a free 3d engineering design package.
