My wife, Wendy, and I enjoy Scouting and Guiding. I particularly enjoy the challenge of recruiting new young bloody into the crazy world of Amateur Radio via JOTA, TDOTA and other Scouting and Radio events. Wendy is District Commissioner of Four Ashes District and I am the Group Scout Leader of Dorridge Scout Group. I have my own Cub Pack; Blackfoot Cubs. The best little chaps in the neighbourhood!
My real hobby is Radio Sport: A competitive enterprise that allows individuals (or teams) to compete against others across the globe, seeking contacts inside a time-line. Computer logs are submitted to organisers who then adjudicate the contest and announce the winner. I am the Team Founder and Captain for the Double Xray Firm (Dorridge Scout Group).
