What happened to my Sunflower?
Clearly not a ham radio subject but last year, most of our Sunflowers ended up looking like double sunflowers with a ‘child’ growing out the middle of the parent’s seed base. We are growing a load more this year and I’m wondering if they’ll have genetically inherited this deformity?
Other than the seed head issue, they grew strong, tall and colourful along the south facing wall of our house. My did they grow fast!
Anyway, what causes this deformity I wonder?
